Value for the money, fast, stunning look!
After I got my first OnePlus phone - the 5T in 2018, I knew the right choice for me to upgrade is McLaren Edition of the 7T Pro.
I was considering iPhone 11 Pro too. But than in November I bought two phones, one for my wife (iPhone 11 Pro Max) and the second phone for me - the 7T Pro McLaren Edition.
When selecting the phone, I had few conditions, large display with NO NOTCH, fast OS, great look, good camera and the price!
The 7T Pro have all of this, great 90Hz display, no notch, super fast OOS, good camera and amazing look. All for more than half of the value of iPhone ;)
I know that camera is not so good like on the iPhone, but the difference is marginal.
Love to use Ultra Wide Angle to shoot photos, night mode is good too.
The phone is heavy, with large battery, but that's an advantage for me, as I have big hands.
Fingerprint sensor is really fast, popup front camera is a funny addon, hence no notch ;)
UFS storage is big and amazing fast. OOS is as usually easy to use, fast and snappy. Very good idea was to use top and bottom speaker as the Dual Stereo set. Haptic vibration feels good too, I would say even better than iPhone.
Even the box is cool, unboxing is a great experience with secret bottom storage for carbon/suede case ;) I like to have the screen protector out of the box!
It could have the wireless charging and MicroSD card slot, instead we have Warp Charger 30T. WOW, that thing is fast ;)
But the most of all - I really like the look of my McLaren Edition in carbon-suede case :)
OnePlus is again my daily driver phone ;)

Absolute beast of a phone
From the speed of Oxygen OS, to the actual design of the phone, this phone is an all-round beast. The unboxing was the best unboxing experience I have ever had. Build quality of the device is impeccable. The 90Hz really does make a massive difference, I had no idea what I was missing until I tried it. I understand the cost of this phone makes people wonder whether it’s worth it, but if you're a fan of McLaren and/or OnePlus, then it's a must for you. I have come from the Google Pixel line-up and I thought I would miss the front facing speakers, but the speakers on this phone sound very impressive. I think the only, very small, downside to this phone at all is the cameras. Don’t get me wrong, I still believe they can take some incredible photos with amazing wide angle and night shots. I feel the pixel phones have focused a lot on the camera which means it will be better for photos, but everything else doesn’t compete with this. I am so glad I switched from Pixel phones and I don’t miss anything from them. Lets just hope OnePlus keep up with regular updates.

Simply incredible phone.
The display is stunning, the colours feel vibrant and natural, the animations are exceptionally smooth. Having experienced this 90HZ display I can no longer use anything less than that.
Oxygen UI feels like pure Android, no pre-installed bloatware.
The camera makes top quality photos: accurate exposure, white balance and skin tone, preserves fine detail. Has Pro mode with controls for ISO, shutter speed, white balance, focus, exposure compensation.
Build quality is incredible: display, design, hardware and camera are 2nd to none. Best Android phone I've ever held in my hands.
Minor downsides:
The curved screen makes it harder to read the text on the edges and tap, and I do not see a justification for the curves, who asked for that? I would prefer a totally flat screen, like on the latest iPhones. That is mitigated by the fact that most applications don't display text edge to edge.
The case that comes with the phone has poor grip-ability and hides the gorgeous back of OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. Had to buy another one.
Alternatively, we will pass this along to the relevant team.

Android 10 glitches
On the whole the phone is very good, looks good, feels good and the camera is great....nightscape shots are superb for example.....but one feature that is so, so frustrating is the Smart Lock / Trusted Place....one minute it works (I have "Home" as my trusted place for the screen lock to be off) and then a few minutes later I am required to put my "pattern" in to unlock....very frustrating. I know it is not a OnePlus hardware problem as such but more of an Android 10 one, but it does need fixing. When you swap manufacturers, as I have done from Huawei to OnePlus. then features that the new phone has that the old one didn't are great....providing they work consistently....the Smart Lock / Trusted Place does not work consistently, more randomly and because of this it is very frustrating. It appears, that if you remove a lock screen then all the lock security on apps go as well....it really does need fixing as this problem has been around awhile if by Googling " Smart Lock / Trusted Place doesn't work is anything to go by.

Gorilla screen and closing tabs let it down
Have had the McLaren edition now for 2 weeks.
Love the fluidity of the operating system, very fast scrolling through web sites and the net in general.
Love there is not too much bloat ware.
though there are still too many of googles tied up crap on there.
I want to us Microsoft one drive for my info to be stored as the default but only get google as default, unless I'm missing something?
Have very large hands and thumbs so struggle to get the tabs to slide across and close when I'm finished with them.
Biggest fail so far is the supposed Gorilla glass..
2 weeks old and already scratched up from putting in m pockets?!?!?! Really? Is it what they say it is?
Still have a Nokia 920 knocking about that is over 5 years old, no screen protectors used with a better condition Gorilla glass then what is supplied on this.
Come on, if your gonna used Gorilla glass at least make sure it can take a few knocks as this is your top of the line phone for £800.00, really must raise the bar here if you want punters to stump up the cash.
Will add more later as I've only had it for 2 weeks....

The fastest phone.
This is the best phone you could buy for the price... If the price was £200 more than it is. Which is what makes this such an amazing device. It's by far the fastest phone on the market but you already knew that. If cameras aren't a deal breaker for you, just pay the money and get one now, you'll save yourself a months worth of indecision and eventually buying it anyway.
If cameras are important to you then honestly you won't be disappointed, obviously the Pixel phones and the newest iPhone will be better, there's no disagreement there, OnePlus already know this. But in every other way, those phones make trade offs that the OnePlus just doesn't and imo those trade offs aren't worth the minor camera improvements.
I would buy this phone all over again.

Amazing phone 7t pro mclaren edition super stylish
This is a great phone best one I've had and certainly best decision I've made phone wise switching from an iPhone to this. Well worth the money and much cheaper than the competitors, the cameras are amazing what's with the reviews from certain posts about the camera not being as good? Check out the pics I took clearly the camera is fantastic. The phone speakers are super loud the screen is much brighter than the iPhones I've had and it is so easy to use, android all the way from here on for me 100%. The phone comes with a super sleek case and already applied screen guard which is awesome considering the price you pay.

Love this phone
I'm not a phone geek but I am IT literate and this phone ticks all the boxes for me. It is quick, the display is fantastic and I can use it for business and pleasure. Having a passion for landscape photography means I also appreciate the cameras this phone has. It'll never replace a DSLR but no phone cameras ever will but it comes close.
My wife had a 3T for years and having seen my 7T pro has asked me to order her an 8. A testiment to the longevity of these phones.

OnePlus - Best of breed!
Have just upgraded from OnePlus 5 to OnePlus 7T Pro. I have had my eyes on this beauty for a long time , and jumped on it when the price was reduced after the release of the 8 series. The process was as slick as ice, and the new addition is in hand and the upgrade is complete. Highly recommend this brand, but almost don't want the secret to get out about how great they are!

Brilliant phone
Just awesome really good phone for the money and there are barely any compromises apart from lack of headphone jack. Everyone gets intrigued by the pop up camera. Oxygen OS is really smooth and fast my only 2 complainant's are no equaliser for headphones which I miss from my s7 edge and no Google product same font everything else is brilliant
