Outstanding
I bought this phone as an upgrade from my OnePlus 6T and I am extremely impressed so far. I have the phone for 5 days now.
Most people expect speed with OnePlus phones and this one is no exception. It is lightning fast and was a lot faster than my 6T when compared which I did not expect. Everything is extremely smooth and apps load almost instantly.
The screen is outstanding and unlike any screen, I've used before. The 90Hz refresh rate is noticeable as I've come from a 60Hz refresh rate phone. Scrolling is a lot smoother and the screen is very responsive. Screen quality is also excellent for viewing video too.
One big upgrade over the 6T for me is the speakers, the addition of the 2 stereo speakers provide excellent volume and a fuller sound for music and video. The battery life is outstanding. I easily get 24 hours from one charge. the battery life is better than I expected considering the 90Hz display. Cameras are not a big deal for me in a phone and the camera setup here is perfect for me. I haven't used the camera all that much so I can't comment on that at the moment.
Although there are a lot of positives to this phone, there are a few things that are missing. The OnePlus shelf and its functions(Pedometer, Quick Access to apps and Parking Location) are the big ones here for me, I would prefer to have it over the Google shelf and hope to see it coming back in some form.
Also, there doesn't seem to be an Audio equalizer here either. There is Dolby Atmos sound but with very limited functions. I would consider myself an Audiophile and the built-in equalizer is important for customizing the sound fof my music. I also hope to see this return.
I cannot fault the hardware here at all, and, Oxygen OS continues to be best OS available for Android. I would 100% recommend this phone to anyone and i am very happy with it.

Superb, fantastic Phone
Been an avid fan of One Plus since the 3rd edition, cool specs and with decent battery and fast charging option, along with spectacular camera features makes this brand lovable ball.
Over the years the price tag seems to have gone up possibly to match the other flagship bearers, but it was the affordable range with high end specs that caught the attention of the common crowd and yielded rich dividends.
I trust going forward One plus caters to all sectors of the community and keeps innovation motivated.

Great phone but be aware what your upgrading from
I like this phone but I don't love it. It is powerful, looks good and can handle anything you throw at it. So could my OnePlus 6. It's not a worthy upgrade from my OnePlus 6 in my opinion and I never thought I'd miss something as simple as a notification light, which the 8 does not have.
Stuck with it now unless I throw more money into another upgrade but let's see what the series 9 brings.
On another note, do not buy the carbon case for this,utter rubbish and a waste of money

Really good
I've had this phone for two months and it's really good so far. Only problem I'm having right now is to do with my navigation bar. Sometimes it disappears completely and doesn't return until I head to settings. A bit of a nuisance but a well made phone

Better than I could have imagined!
I picked this up for my partner for their birthday, as an upgrade from the sturdy 5T. The 8's cameras, the video playback, the overall sleekness of the phone - it's worth every cent. I loved it so much I've upgraded too!

Super speedy delivery and excellent phone!
I am amazed by the speed of the delivery, ordered on Friday and delivered to Ireland on Monday. Very happy with the phone. I love the screen and the processing speed is instant.

Amazing phone
Super great phone, so fast and an absolutely amazing battery life even with the 90 hz i only need to charge it 3 times a week what more could you ask for

Not really good. Lower than I wish. There is a problem with motor sometimes it continues shaking didn't stop,and got stuck.

I like most of it
Well it's acceptable price regarding the specs .. but what I didn't like about it that there isn't earphones coming with it like other companies do . And if I knew it doesn't come with earphones I wouldn't purchase it .. because that makes difference with pricing ...I hope that next phones will have earphones in the box .
