Excellent Device
Absolutely love my OnePlus 6T McLaren! Beautiful design, nice and snappy and can pretty much power through anything you throw at it. The large 256GB storage option is good enough for me and the large files I'm constantly transferring for work. The best part is Oxygen OS, awesome and useful software and super smooth.

Amazing phone
Ordered on launch day, standard delivery, arrived two days later! Impressed.

This is my first OnePlus phone, having been a longtime iPhone user up until about a year ago when I switched to Android, but on a 2015 Google Nexus 5X. So this is my first flagship really.
I really like Oxygen OS - it really is a nice polished version of Android, and that's coming from Vanilla with the Nexus phones. There are some included wallpapers which animate subtly when unlocking the phone, and it looks so slick.
I'm not a heavy gamer or anything, but the phone feels super fast, scrolling etc is super smooth, apps launch instantly, it's a joy to use.
So, the in-screen fingerprint display. I've read that it doesn't compare to things like Touch ID and Face ID from Apple for speed - and when I first set up my fingerprint on the OP6T I was a little underwhelmed. It didn't always unlock and would sometimes sit there reading my fingerprint for several seconds before saying 'try again'.
But an update was available as soon as I got the phone, which mentioned fingerprint sensor improvements, and since that was installed, I've had no issues. It's near-instant and I've not had the 'try again' message at all. While you do have to put your finger directly on the sensor, and since it's on the flat screen you can't feel where it goes, it's not exactly difficult to do. I've never missed, anyway! And you have a selection of three animations while it's unlocking, all of which are super cool.
Battery life is brilliant, and charging speed has really blown me away. I won't ever need to leave it plugged in overnight. Even 30 mins takes it to half full from nearly empty - that's enough for a day.
Camera is pretty good too - not done any night shots, and only had it a few days, but I've taken some good photos. And I like the gesture support to open the camera from the lock screen.
I'm not a big fan of these notched phones, but the OP6T definitely does it best. I personally have it set to disable the top line of the screen for apps - so apps get nice rounded edges just underneath the notch, and either side of the notch is reserved for notifications and the status bar.
The ambient display is great, I've got it set to only wake when I tap the screen, rather than pick up the device (as I noticed it was waking up too much, and since you have to touch the phone to pick it up, I thought it would be better just to have tap to wake enabled).
This is definitely the largest phone I've owned, having never had a Plus sized iPhone as I thought they were too large. I believe it's similar in width to the Plus iPhones, but definitely taller. You notice especially when taking a screenshot how tall it is! But it's comfy to hold and use, with the included case. I have Gboard and set it to right-handed mode as I use swipe to type, often with one hand. It works well for me.
Overall, I'm in love with it, and think this'll be the first of many OnePlus phones for me!

Fantastic, could not be happier
Display : 10/10 gorgeous, 6.4" OLED screen. Really nice colours and detail. People complain about the 1080p but honestly theres barely a difference between this 1080p panel and the 1440p screens you get from Samsungs.
Speed : 10/10 literally so fast that I cant believe it sometimes. Haven't had a single lag yet with my 8gb of RAM and with the optimisation i am sure this speed will stay consistent for the next 2 or 3 years.
Battery : 10/10 the best part of this phone. I am a very heavy user and yet I can get 10 hours of screen time, which i have never done in a phone. the software plus the huge battery makes this possible. plus with the dash charging, i can leave this on charge for 15 minutes and come back with almost a 40% increase.
Camera : 7/10 it is a really good camera but only if you use GCam. otherwise you can notice a lot of blur in pictures and the camera at night is quite poor.
some things i'd like improved :
headphone jack - sad that the 6t doesnt have it
fingerprint sensor - sometimes quite slow
size - if you have small hands this might be quite uncomfortable to use because 6.4 inch is a very large size.
speakers - wish it had dual stereo speakers, instead its got one mono speaker and its downward facing. its disappointing but at least the speaker is really loud.
overall a 10/10 phone and you cannot go wrong with it for its price. for £500 it beats competitors such as the galaxy S9 and the pixel 3.

What more could you ask out of a phone?
This is my first oneplus phone, and there isn't much to say. The phone is absolutely top-tier, the user experience unparalleled, and the speed amazing. This is a phone that you can rely on to work when you need it to work. Sure, it doesn't have the pixel's camera, LG's speakers, or Samsung's display but what it does have is the powerful oxygen OS that manages your RAM so efficiently that the experience couldn't be smoother. As for the other departments, make no mistake: the camera is very good, the speakers are nice (if you don't like them, buy yourself a decent headphone), and the display is fantastic (especially with the very elegant tear-drop notch). For all the iphone users out there switching to android (or thinking about it), if your primary concern with android is the stability of the OS, then definitely go for oneplus. Oxygen OS is pure genius, and, combined with massive amounts of RAM, you can rest assured that your user experience will be just as smooth as the iOS experience (I am not a previous iphone user but I know that nothing is as smooth as this).
All in all, no matter what you use it for, this phone should be on your radar for all the top-tier specs it packs at a very decent entry-level price. It makes using your phone a fun thing to do.

Bye bye Apple
Exceptionally pleased with my 1+6T. Bought to replace an aged iPhone 4s. Intended to buy an iPhone XR then started to read the reviews on this phone. Those and a £300 price difference convinced me. This is the first time I have used an Android device and I am pleasantly surprised to find it much better and more adaptable than ios. The value for money, when compared to other high-end phones, is fantastic and the quality of build and user experience so far has been first class. Excellent to unbox, everything you need thoughtfully provided and 'Boy, was it a relief not to have to fit a screen protector'. Not a bubble in sight, lol. I am on BT so I have not got 4g calling, etc but this does not worry me. My experience with internet usage and calls so far has been excellent. I can't think of a single thing to even niggle about let alone complain.

OnePlus 6T
I upgraded from the OP6 and I do not regret my decision, i love the way the phone feels as it now feels more rounded when compared to the OP6 and sits more comfortably in hand, the camera is still amazing and the face unlock is still as fast as ever, nightscape is brilliant and has improved low light photography dramatically. Fast charge formally known as Dash Charge is still lightning quick and a days power in half an hour is correct. My only gripe is that the display unlock has issues when it comes to using it with a third party screen protector but OnePlus did say that this could be an issue so i knew what i was getting into when i applied the tempered glass protector. But yes I would recommed this phone to anyone looking to upgrade.

Great phone! Premium Feel & Premium Quality
Rear Camera: The camera is impressive, the 20x16 MP back camera looks very clear an sharp.
Front Camera: Very good and clear, looked at few reviews online who said that the camera is very good, but I got to say ... it is AMAZING. my old phone had 7 megapixel camera, however the upgrade to the 16 MP camera on OnePlus 6T is just perfect!
Speed: The phone is so, so, fast. Especially the charging speed. Took the phone out the box with 45% charge. Left it on charge for 10 minutes and went up to 85%. Never seen a phone to charge so fast. Thank you OnePlus!
Switching Data/Apps: I used OnePlus Switch App to transfer all the data from my old phone. Worked quite smooth and very easy to use too.

Brilliant phone!!
Everything to the in-display fingerprint scanner to the performance is great. It is very smooth and quick and i have no problem having multiple things running at the same time. The camera is great, however the night mode could be improved maybe with software updates. The build quality is great, feels very premium and comfortable in the hands. The speaker is loud and clear but it is easily covered which is annoying at times. The face unlock and in display fingerprint scanner is quick and reliable. The phone has many great features which make your life a little easier. Honestly its a great phone, especially for the price.

I love my phone :)
I have always wanted to get a onePlus but always ended up with Samsung phone. Made the move and haven't looked back . The phone is just perfect in every way. Getting 2 days + battery life, the fast charge is massively handy. The speed of the phone, the camera everything just work fast. Never get any issues and just works really well. I would say it's just helped my my life and work life much more efficient as get things done really quickly. Also live the interface just clean and quick.. very impressed. Keep doing what your doing its awesome!!

Great smartphone with great features
Things I loved the most:
• Great battery
• Great rear camera
• Clean Operating system
• Innovative display built-in fingerprint scanner
• Fantastic speed
Things I liked least:
• Front camera could be better
• Sometimes battery optimization system has conflicts with apps’ notifications (hope they fix in further updates)
• Should include free earphones
• Slow-motion feature has really poor quality, specially in low light environment.
Overall, a best phone I ever had.
