1. All cash prizes mentioned above are tax inclusive, and will be paid in USD. The winners shall solely bear all the taxes including but not limited to personal income tax subject to applicable laws and regulations.
2. OnePlus will announce the winners of 'OnePlus Photography Expert' and 'OnePlus Photography Ambassador' titles, and the winning entries will be showcased on its website, emails, social media, and other communication channels without additional notice or consent.

Who is Eligible to Participate in the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards?
• Smartphone users worldwide who have full capacity for civil conduct as stipulated by laws and regulations in the country or region where they reside. Specifically, entries in the 'OnePlus Group' must be shot by OnePlus smartphones, with no requirement for the model; entries in the 'Public Group' have no requirement for the smartphone brand or model.
Detailed Rules for Submissions
1. Participants may choose to enter 1-3 competition categories, with a maximum of 15 entries per category.
2. The entries must include complete EXIF information. Missing EXIF information may affect the judging process and the results.
3. Entries can be submitted to multiple competition categories but can only win in one category.
4. Entries must be photographed not earlier than February 7, 2023, 11:59 PM (UTC+8).
5. Entries must be in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC and HEIF formats, and file size should larger than 3MB and not exceed 10MB.
6. Entries must be photographed and edited by the participants themselves. The use of any desktop image processing program, automated or AI tools to generate, edit, or enhance the content of the photos is strictly prohibited. Only basic edits such as brightness, contrast, white balance, and saturation via installed mobile phone editing apps are allowed. Composite and other modifications altering the original content are strictly prohibited.
7. Entries that have won any awards in any other photography contests (including social media contests) or been published (excluding free sharing and reposting on social media platforms) are not eligible to participate.
8. Prior to the Winner Announcement on August 19, 2025, if an entry wins any awards in any other photography contest or is published (excluding free sharing and reposting on social media platforms), it will be rendered ineligible. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify it and cancel its related rights, qualifications, and awards if the entry wins any awards in the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards'.
How to Participate in the Awards
1. Participants can submit your entries for free through the official website of the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' or the official partner site 500px. The title of the corresponding entry (up to 10 words) and the story of the entry (up to 100 words) must be provided.
2. Please upload your entries in time during the submission period. After the submission deadline, no uploads or modifications will be accepted.
3. Copyrights of the entries belong to the corresponding participants, who authorize the Sponsor to showcase the entries via OnePlus social media, OnePlus official website and other channels. For that reason, the Sponsor will not separately inform the participants or require their consents to using their entries.
Judging Criteria & Judging Process
Judging Criteria:
Criteria include but are not limited to composition, creativity, relevance, and visual storytelling.
Judging Process:
1. Preliminary Review: During the submission period, the Committee will periodically select preliminary entries without quantity limitation.
2. Finalisting: After submissions close, the Committee will conduct a unified review of preliminary entries and select finalists. Approximately 100 finalists will be retained for each competition category.
3. Judging Panel Scoring: Finalists will be scored by the judging panel, assigning each entry a score between 1-100 (ensuring effective differentiation). Judges will not communicate their opinions and will score independently.
4. Score Calculation: Score of each entry will be calculated by the Committee to determine the ranking and final results.
5. Results Publicity Period: Proposed winning entries and related information will be publicly announced for public feedback and supervision.
6. Winner Announcement: After the publicity period, final results will be announced, combining the contest's philosophy, judges’ opinions, the Committee’s opinions, and public supervision.
Note: Participants who voluntarily request to withdraw from the contest before August 1, 2025, will forfeit their eligibility for any awards.
Participant Responsibilities and Submission Pledge
1. Participants must ensure independent, complete, precise and uncontroversial copyright ownership of the entries. Entries must not infringe on any third-party legal rights, including but not limited to copyright, name right, trademark rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, and other legal rights.
2. Entries must not defame or disparage the Sponsor or any other individual or party by any means.
3. Entries must not contain improper, crude, erotic or infringing content, or content that shows hatred, spreads rumors and convey libel.
4. Entries must not contain content that propagates prejudice against any groups or individuals or discrimination against any races, or show hatred or injury; or the content that supports discrimination against any race, religion, nationalities, handicap, sexual orientation or age.
5. Entries must not contain content that is illegal, breaks laws or violates rules and regulations or the social morality (if applicable) of any jurisdictions where the entry was created and submitted.
6. Entries must not propagate illegal drugs and guns (or use either of the two items), any activity that looks unsafe or dangerous, or any information that carries any specific political motives.
7. Participants undertake to comply with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction and must not post or upload illegal content related to politics, pornography, violence, or terrorism.
8. Entries do not represent the views or stand of OnePlus. OnePlus reserves the right to use technical or manual methods to review all submitted entries. If any entry violates the aforementioned terms, OnePlus reserves the right to disqualify the entry and all associated rights and qualifications.
Information Required
To provide services such as participant identification and entry verification, we will collect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy of this site to the extent permitted by the above-mentioned purposes and applicable laws. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more details.
Winner Announcement
1. The results will be announced in August 19, 2025. A two-week results publicity period will follow for public supervision.
2. The winners will be announced on the official website. After the publicity period, the Committee will inform winners via SMS, phone, or email.
3. For any feedback or questions about the results, please email the Committee at photoawards@oneplus.com. No feedback will be accepted after the results publicity period. If any violations are found during this period, the offending entries will be disqualified, and the awards will be passed on to other participants. The offending participants shall be held legally responsible for such violations. The Committee shall the right to withdraw the prizes, titles and other granted rights and interests, and announce it on the official website.
4. If a winner’s provided contact information is incomplete or incorrect, and the Sponsor cannot reach out to the winner and the winner does not take the initiative to contact the Sponsor within fifteen (15) working days after the winner list is announced, or if the winner explicitly waives his/her right to the award, or fails to submit the required documents within the specified time, or if the submitted documents do not meet the Sponsor’s requirements, the winner will be deemed to forfeit his/her right to the award. The Sponsor will not bear any consequences and will not redistribute the prize later.

The '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' is an annual global photography contest (hereinafter referred to as 'the Awards') provided by OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as 'OnePlus', 'the Sponsor', 'the Committee', 'we', 'us', or 'our') on which you can participate in by uploading mobile photography works to contest. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information collection and protection rules for all services related to the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards', including the uploading, judging process, and prize distribution, provided by OnePlus to users worldwide (hereinafter referred to as 'the Service').
In OnePlus, we take the security of your personal information and privacy very seriously. We will take suitable measures to protect your personal information according to laws and regulations, as well as the mature security standards in the industry. Through this Privacy Policy, you will understand how we collect, use, process, and protect the information you provide while using the Service. This policy may be updated, and we will inform you of any changes in an appropriate and reasonable manner. If our collection and use of personal information exceed the scope described in this policy, we will inform you again and obtain your consent.

Account Registration and Login
You can choose to register or log in to your OnePlus account to participate in the Awards. When you register or log in to your OnePlus account, you need to provide your phone number or email address, account password, or SMS verification code to fulfill legal and contractual obligations. This information is necessary for account registration, login, and participation. We may also use your date of birth to verify account ownership and fulfill relevant legal obligations for the protection of minors. If you refuse to provide this information, we will not be able to provide you with registration and login services.
After completing account registration, you may choose to provide a username, avatar, gender, name, and emergency contact information to further complete your account. This information is optional, and if you refuse to provide such information, it will not affect your ability to register or log in.
Once you have logged in to the OnePlus account on a device, services provided by us or our affiliates will enable automatic login without interrupting your experience. For this purpose, your avatar, nickname, and OnePlus account ID information will be synchronized across these products/services.

Registration and Submission
When you choose to participate in the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards, we will collect your email address or phone number. This information is necessary to verify your unique and genuine identity and to contact you later to review the originality and compliance of your entries.
We will collect your social media account information. If your entry is selected as an outstanding entry or wins any prize, we will use OnePlus Official Account to engage interactions with you based on the social media information you provide. This information is optional, and if you refuse to provide such information, it will not affect your participation in the Awards.
During the registration process, to assess the effectiveness of our contest promotion, you will also need to provide information on how you learned about the Awards.
When uploading your entries, you must upload the original images containing EXIF information. Your entries (images) and related information, including photographer, title, description, competition group, competition category, as well as the brand and model of the device used (hereinafter referred to as 'Entry Information'), will be collected.
You must ensure that the submitted information and entries are true and accurate; otherwise, it may result in an inability to verify your entries and/or identity, affecting the judging process or prize distribution process. If the information you provide infringes on others' legitimate rights, you will bear the consequences.
By submitting your entries to the Awards, you agree to allow us to showcase your entries on the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' official website and OnePlus official channels, as well as through our official partner 500px, and other users will be able to view your entries and Entry Information.
Judging Process
The '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' is a global contest. The Committee and the professional judging panel will jointly review and score submissions worldwide. The judging process for the Awards will take place in regions including, but not limited to, China, the EU, North America, and India. By submitting your entries, you agree to authorize the Committee and its professional judging panel to review and score your entries. You acknowledge and consent that your Entry Information may be transferred cross-border to the regions where the Committee and professional judging panel are located.
During the judging process, we may contact you via the contact information you provided to verify the originality and compliance of your entry, such as confirming that it was shot with a mobile device.
Publicity of Submitted Entries
During the submission period, the Committee will periodically select outstanding entries. If your entry is selected as an outstanding entry, the entry and the related information will be showcased on the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' official website. The related information will include your entry (image), and Entry Information (e.g., photographer, title, description, competition group, competition category, as well as the brand and model of the device used).
After the judging process, if your entry wins any prize, we will announce your winning entry on the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' official website. You agree to allow us to showcase your winning entry and the related information online and offline through OnePlus official channels, partners, and authorized parties. The related information will include your winning entry (image), Entry Information (e.g., photographer, title, description, competition group, competition category, as well as the brand and model of the device used), and award details.
Winner Announcement and Prize Distribution
If your entry wins a prize, we will inform you based on the contact information (email address or phone number) you provided during submission. The Committee will contact you via email or SMS to collect the necessary information for awarding. This may include your real name, email address, phone number, banking information (for cash prizes only), and shipping address (for physical prizes only).
Statistical Analysis
To better assess the effectiveness of the Awards and optimize our services, we may conduct statistical analysis on user data, such as the region associated with the OnePlus account, the source of contest information, and the brand and model of devices used. This statistical information will not be associated with your personal identity and will not be used for other commercial purposes.
2. Protection of Minors
The Awards is mainly intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not provide services directly to children. In other words, children are not allowed to participate in the Awards without the consent of their guardians. Please note that we treat anyone under the age of 18 (or under the minimum age of full legal capacity in the jurisdiction concerned) as a child. Please note that due to technical limitations and other objective factors, we may not be able to actively identify the age of users.
If we find that we have collected children's personal information, we will try to delete such information at the earliest possible time. If you are a child, or if you are a guardian of a child, or if you otherwise find that any information we have processed may contain the personal information of a child, please contact us as provided in Section 10 of this Policy. We will do everything we can to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.
3. How We Share Your Information with Third Parties
Apart from the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' official website, we will also share contest information, showcase outstanding entries and announce winning entries through OnePlus official online and offline channels, the official partner site 500px, and authorized third-parties.
We may share necessary information including entries and Entry Information with affiliates, subsidiaries, or third-party service providers for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, such as supporting contest operations, promoting outstanding entries and winning entries, and distributing prizes. All the related information will only be used for the '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' and not for any unrelated purposes. We require information-sharing parties to adhere to this Policy and take appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
4. How We Disclose Your Information
In principle, your personal information should not be disclosed publicly. Exceptions include:
• When you have been informed and give explicit consent to the disclosure.

OnePlus will retain personal data related to your submissions for a period of three (3) years, unless an extended retention period is required or permitted by law.
To ensure the quality of customer service, related data such as email addresses, complaints, or suggestions will be retained for a period of three (3) years, regardless of whether your account is closed.
Additionally, in the event that the Service ceases operations, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the website and will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period.

7. Data Storage Location
The '2025 OnePlus Photography Awards' is a global contest, and as a global company, we provide services through globally distributed resources and servers. For the purpose of ensuring the high quality of our services (such as high processing speeds) and subject to local data protection laws, user data will be stored based on the country/region of account registration, with our data centers located in France, the US, Singapore, India, and Indonesia. This means that your personal information may be transferred to or accessed from these jurisdictions.
You understand that there are different risks under different data protection regimes. We will take measures to ensure that the data collected by us is processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable laws and that your personal information is as well protected as it is in the country or region where you use the relevant products or services. HOW TO ENTER
Beginning on February 7, 2025 through June 30, 2025 (the 'Submission Period'), access the OnePlus website and navigate to the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards webpage, or access the website of 500px, OnePlus’s official partner, and follow the instructions for submitting your photographs to the 2025 OnePlus Photography Awards contest (the 'Contest').
ELIGIBILITY
Open to residents of U.S and Canada who are 18 years of age and older as of the date of entry. Void where prohibited.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Each participant may submit up to 15 photographs per competition category, and may submit in 1 to 3 competition categories. However, participants will only win in 1 competition category.
• Photographs submitted in the 'OnePlus Group' must be taken on OnePlus phones. Photographs submitted in the 'Public Group' may be taken on any mobile phone.
• Submissions must include complete EXIF information. Missing EXIF information may result in disqualification.
• Photographs must be photographed later than February 7, 2023, 23:59 (UTC+8).
• Photographs must be in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC and HEIF formats. The file size of each photograph must be larger than 3MB and not exceed 10MB.
• Submissions must be original works and edits of the participant. COPYRIGHT AND LICENSE
Participants retain the rights to their photographs; however, by entering the Contest, each participant grants OnePlus USA Corp. ('Sponsor') and its affiliates (together, the 'Promotion Parties') a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of OnePlus products and OnePlus’s website and other commercial products (this includes any sales of products utilizing the photograph). Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The Promotion Parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
JUDGING CRITERIA AND PROCESS
• Photographs will be judged based on composition, creativity, relevance, and visual storytelling.
• During the Submission Period, the judging committee will periodically select preliminary entries.
• Upon the closing of the Submission Period, the judging committee will conduct a review of the preliminary entries and select approximately 100 finalists for each competition category.
• Finalists will be scored by an independent panel consisting of Hasselblad Ambassadors, Hasselblad Masters, and OnePlus Imaging Product Experts, assigning each work a score between 1-100 (ensuring effective differentiation). Judges will not communicate their opinions and will score independently.
WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZES
Grand Prize: Photo of the Year – One (1) winner will be selected to receive a cash prize of $10,000 USD, an award certificate, one (1) OnePlus 13 phone, and the title of 'OnePlus Photography Ambassador,' with potential future collaboration opportunities with OnePlus.

WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be announced on August 19, 2025 through the OnePlus website. Winners will also be notified by SMS, phone, or email. By entering this Activity, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by the Promotion Parties via direct message, telephone, e-mail, and/or postal mail concerning this Activity.
WINNER CONFIRMATION AND VERIFICATION
A winner will only be confirmed as the winner eligible to receive the Prize after the Sponsor has completed verification of the winner’s eligibility to win and confirmed the winner’s compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
To receive the prize(s), and as part of the winner confirmation and verification process, winners must accurately complete and timely return Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility and any other documentation reasonably required by Sponsor or the provider of the prize(s) (where permitted by law), and/or any other document necessary to confirm and verify a winner’s eligibility, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion (collectively, the 'Winner Documentation'). Winners must fully and accurately complete Winner Documentation and timely return all such documentation by the date specified by Sponsor, or the Winners may be disqualified and will forfeit any claim to any of the prizes(s).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering this Contest, participants waive all right to, and hold the Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any coupon or prize. Promotion Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant's failure to receive prize notices due to participant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this Contest; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Contest; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the Contest, or announcement of the prizes. If, in the Promotion Parties’ opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Contest, Promotion Parties reserve the right to cancel or modify this Contest. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the online entry form.
Promotion Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of this Contest or in the announcement of winner and prize. In the event Promotion Parties are prevented from continuing with this promotion, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the promotion as planned is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction (each a 'Force Majeure' event or occurrence), Promotion Parties shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Contest and award the prizes from among all eligible entries received up to that date.
GENERAL PRIZE TERMS
None of the Promotion Parties is responsible for, and a winner will not receive the difference (if any) between, the actual value of the prize(s) at the time of the award and the stated ARV in these Terms and Conditions. Cash prizes are pre-tax amounts, and will be payable in United States dollars. If the winner is required to receive cash prizes in their local currency, the exchange rate as of June 30, 2025, 23:59 p.m. will be applied. Prizes are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in their sole discretion (which prize shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions). Prize details not specified herein will be determined by Sponsor in its discretion. Prizes are nonrefundable, not redeemable for cash, and not transferable, and no cash alternative is available. The prize is limited to that specified in the section titled 'PRIZES' above, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included in the prize and are solely the winner’s responsibility. Gift cards, gift certificates and tickets, including but not limited to any that may be awarded by Sponsor in the event of a substitute prize, are subject to the terms and conditions specified thereon or otherwise specified by the issuer thereof. If the winner is unable to, or elects not to, use any part of a prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize. Any and all taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of such prize winner. The value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law, and such winner must provide any additional information requested by Sponsor so that they can comply with applicable tax reporting obligations. By participating in the Contest, you waive the right to assert any and all claims arising from or related to costs of verification or redemption of or travel to claim a prize and any liability or publicity that might arise from claiming or seeking to claim a prize. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM
Participant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this Activity and these Terms and Conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Participant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Terms and Conditions shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Santa Clara County, California.

By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to, where legal, Promotion Parties’ use of his/her name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing.
